What types of video cards can I install on my pc?

Here are my specs:

Elite Group (ECS) P4M900T-M (V1.0) Motherboard

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz 3.39GHz

RAM: 1GB DDR2

500W Power Supply

250GB Hard Drive

Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit Operating system

1 PCI-Express X16 slot

  1. Since you have a PCI-Express X16 slot, you can put pretty much any new video card you want in it.  That processor will hold you back in gaming performance, though.  Unless you plan on upgrading your motherboard and processor soon, I'd say get an 8600GT.  They aren't great, but anything else would be wasted when your lack of RAM and processing power slows it down.


  2. You can do Windows Vista Home Premium, 250GB Hard drive, and I think that's  about it!
