What u prefer most as an operating system VISTA or XP.?

vista is working when ur Ram is more than 1GB or more

for less u can use XP.

XP is good because for its simplicity and good features,  VISTA is good for better graphics and good looking.

it takes more memory than XP

well xp is the best, if your planning for vista then ur machine needs have good RAM upto 1gb

vista is good if you have the specs to run it. It looks great if you have aero, it has better security, it is incredibly stable. If you invest time to learn its sometimes quirky ways, you'll love it

Vista is very slow. It restarts many times on its own. I feel XP is much better than Vista.

XP for me...I had far less problems with it. Also Vista takes a h**l of a lot of hard drive and RAM as compared to XP.

I recently bought a Apple desktop....best investment I made. Its far more user friendly (Vista seems to have been based on Mac OS). People said Apple is not compatible with PC....well you are wrong. It works fine with Office (i actually prefer the look in Apple as compared to PC).

pro: way easier to find something because search tool is everywhere. the side bar gadgets.

con: the file/ tools/ view doesn't show up unless you go alt f or alt t etc. so new user would be like where is it.

Vista's user interface is different, it doesnt have Microsoft Office, and it has no game drivers. it pretty much sucks.
