This redneck cowboy from the South of Brazil, a "gaucho", was standing at the bar with a guy from central Brazil, from Minas Gerais State.

Culturally and economically speaking, the South of Brazil is great, very European. That's also where the most beautiful women come from, naturally. Porto Alegre is a huge capitol city that must be visited. And São Leopoldo is like a new Germany. The Center and North, in the other hand, have a long way to go, with terrible administration problems. It is truly sad that most foreigners only get to know Rio de Janeiro. But the people is cool all over the country.
