What undershirt is best?

What undershirt would be best to wear when going to sleep? I wear a t-shirt with another undershirt(I've just done it forever) and wanted to ask other men what undershirt do you wear to sleep a thin t-shirt or an athletic shirt (a-shirt) and why or if you don't sleep with one why? Also, if I wear an undershirt, should I wear another shirt on top of it? And don't say "whatever you're comfortable in" because that's annoying and doesn't answers the question.

in the summer time, its not really necessary to wear both an undershirt and a tee. i would try a comfortable, loose wife beater or similarly cut tank. the good ones are generally softer than typical undershirts, and can transition easily into daytime too.

during the winter, however, you might get cold in just a tank. the tee and undershirt combo is probably one of your better options, or you can get a regular pajama shirt. good luck!
