What underwear should wear after an adult circumcision ??

hi all,

im getting a circumcision in a few weeks and am wondering what underwear is best to wear in the weeks after ?? boxers or briefs ?? any body girls or guys input would be great

also i was thinking of maybe getting a groin gaurd (cup) like they wear in karate and sports that is hard on the outside so nothing can hit it

I would wear boxers. I think you would something loose so it doesn't rub up against your junk

this is something that you want to ask your doctor/surgeon, not a bunch of fools trying to waste time on the computer. Don't let all the *** holes here discourage you from doing what you want.

Go for the boxers, give it more freedom from movement while its sore plus it allow the wound area to dry faster .Then you'll go back to briefs when the last scabs have slough off. Good Luck!

i would advise u get pouch for over your p***s as if the head is rubbing against your clothing it could make u come and there will be sperm all over u

Congratulations on your impending circumcision. From my experience Single-Guy and the Mad Scotsman are both right. Good luck with the operation. It will be really uncomfortable for a couple of days, settle within a week or so and feel entirely normal within a couple of months and - trust me - you'll wish you'd had it done years ago.

No boxers, just wear something really loose.

Hey:bud.

I would say wear boxers for a week or so after

circumcision so the skin won't be irritated due

to tight fitting underwear like briefs.

Also you could just wear track pants around the house

so the skin gets lots of air which will help your p***s

heal. I was circumcised as a child so I don't remember

being non circumcised, but I think you will find being

circumcised is a lot easier. You will be able to keep

your p***s much cleaner & you won't have to worry

about the excess moisture that develops under the

f******n because it will be gone. I'm sure you have heard

all kinds of stories about how circumcised guys have

reduced sensitivity in their p***s due to the head rubbing

against underwear. I guess there might be some truth

to that because the f******n does indeed protect the head

of the p***s from such friction, but that being said I'm 42

and I have great sensitivity in my p***s so I can't say

I have a problem.

I just had a circumcision a week ago lol. So uhm I guess as one man to another its my obligation to at least tell you what I personally am going through. If you wear boxers during the day when you're walking around, the head of your p***s will be tender and the free balling will rub up against the fabric constantly, so boxers are really not comfortable to walk around in. I would suggest a brief or a boxer brief. Putting them on will feel weird but they'll keep your junk in place so it doesn't move around as much. Cotton dude lol.

When you sleep though you'll get night-time erections that can get pretty d**n uncomfortable and will wake you up. So boxer briefs or briefs would feel quite constricting. I suggest boxers at night. Just situate yourself in a way that won't have the head touching the pants. Oh here's a tip sleep on your side with your legs bent. Like fetal position and have your balls and p***s in front of your legs. Also empty your bladder before sleep, because that might lead to unwanted erections. If you do get one, try raising your knees closer to your chest and hopefully the erection will go away.

If you can though, walk around naked. That's really the best thing. Don't worry about it too much though, it's not as bad as some people might scare you into thinking. Not particularly painful, just uncomfortable. Good luck.

anyways, i would use a cup for sure. and boxers are more comfortable. they also allow better airflow for faster healing

After I was done I believe I wore briefs.

It will be wrapped in bandages as well and briefs will help to stop it moving around too much.

There is no right answer apart from just go with what feels comfortable with yourself. The same goes with the groin guard, it if feels ok then wear it.

I'm not gonna lie to you, it will hurt for a few weeks and you may walk a little funny to start with to try and stop it rubbing but in the long term in my experience it was worth doing.

I was 27 I think when I was done.

you would have to order it now to get it on time since it's from canada but it's essentially a pouch that slips over the p***s to protect it

whatever the problem is it can be cured less invasively

I wish my parents hadn't chosen it for me, when I found out about it I read everything I could, I know tons of information about and have read both pro and anti circumcision websites, I really wanted to believe it was good, but the truth just isn't there, you see and hear all these claims but if you ask for the actual study nobody has them or they are so old and used invalid techniques and would not even be considered for publishing, I wanted to believe it was good but if you look at both sides, circumcising without an immediate medical need makes no sense at all. I later did f******n restoration restoring what was left (they do leave some f******n) but it's not all restorable, but what I was able to get back was great. but this came at a price, I can no longer see circumcision as cosmetic or as if it does not really matter, things that I thought were normal I only realized were problems after I restored and no longer had them, sexual enjoyment is way up. I can't imagine how much better the real thing is.
