  1. If you are referring to scales in the U.S. , it will most likely be in inches.


  2. In the United States, the heights are measured in feet and inches.  

    In countries using the metric system, the height is measured in meters.  

    My 5' 10" height is 1.78 meters in metric.  

  3. Imperial measure is in inches. Metric is in centimetres.
