What up with high gas prices gees ?

how many r fed up with the price of gas ? it's freaking bs.sunday 3.80 gallon yesterday jumped to 4 bucks a gallon there saying no price can't spell but but its bs these rich oil company pocketing millions .only real answer is everyone don't buy gas use public buses .make no extra trips .sound stupid i know but that would be the only way to bring it down.no reason for prices to be as high as they r,i'm lucky enough to live in a small town 30 min walk to savemart .15 min walk to the post office.5 min walk to the park .taco bell is and mcdonalds all within walking range .anyone have any ideal ? i know noone of this makes sence to some but maybe there not smart enough to understand.

the problem is we have politicians in office and a president that is making a butt-load of money from the high gas prices . for the longest time if somebody farted the wrong way in Iraq it gave those OPEC azzols a reason to raise the cost of a barrel of oil, and everybody knows bush has his fair share of stock in the big oil company's . now , lets all watch bush put his hands together and pretend to be a religious holy man who loves his country.

what's up with LOW gas prices????

In Europe, gas is about $6.00 per gallon (most of it is tax)

but nooooooooooooooooooooooooo, tax is a dirty word over here!!!

Maybe if gas was more expensive, we'd have more fuel-efficient vehicles!

its cheap thats what...in 1978 my house cost 20K now worth 250K... a car cost 4000 dollars now 25,000...gas in 1978,,,1.85..now "only"  3.30/gal....   while prices on everything went up 5 times 10 times 20 times gas only   2 times...think about it...the oil companys make less dollar for dollar  than Walmart...you can look it up.....

The Federal Government makes more money per gallon, or per liter, of gas then the oil company does.  Look on that pump and you will see how much the state and federal government are gouging you for taxes.  The blame does not rest entirely with the very much regulated oil companies.

Yep hear ya!  It's totally ridiculous!  Your idea is good, but it never seems to work.  People have tried that for years.  But there are always people that will get gas on that one particular day.  We are at 3.49 a gallon here in Fort Wayne Indiana area.  But, they say everyone will be paying 4 or 5 dollars a gallon by summer.  Yet, the Arabs are millions in debt to America.  So, why can't we just take that out in trade?  Get fuel and oil to take their bill to us down?  Fat chance of that happening too!  Someones pockets won't get the money it's used to.  And it sure ain't mine!

thats like were i am in australia our petrol is llike between $1:35 - $1.50 per litre its annoying with the cost of things these days, just over priced.

Well, it's a monopoly.  A small group of corporations own the fuel market so they can raise it to whatever they wish.  They know we will pay the price because we are a lazy nation.  Until alternative means of transportation hits the market, Big-time CEO's and investor's are gonna milk it for all it's worth.
