  1. Toyota Camry

  2. You should look into getting a Honda or Nissan, which are known to be very reliable and get great gas mileage.

  3. If you're not looking to purchase a hybrid, then stick with the cars that have set the standard for fuel economy...

    - Honda Civic: 36 city, 44 hwy

    - Toyota Corolla: 32 city, 40 hwy

    - Toyota Celica: 29 city, 36 hwy

    Good luck!

  4. mini cooper...

  5. You can't go wrong with a Honda Civic.

Not only does it get the best gas mileage in it's class, but after you're done with school, it will still have very high resale value.....so you can get something a little nicer

  6. I bought my 2001 2 door chevy cavalier (looks like a sports car especially with it's paint job) for 3,500 from a private owner, which would be your best option for cheaper cars. My car gets great gas mileage, I'm not sure how much it is but I can fill up drive back and forth between home work and school (which are all on opposites of the city) and not have to fill up for about 2 - 3 weeks.

  7. honda civic

  8. either a honda accord or civic or a toyota camry or corolla.  all four of those cars are very nice, even if used.  they hold their value and you will never have a mechanical problem.  they also get great gas mileage.  I have a 1996 accord and its in fantastic condition.  I have never had a single problem with it.  :D good luck!
