  1. handwashing ofcourse....for it uses more water especially rinsing the dishes...

  2. hand-washing, especially when I do it, not to mention the need to dry the whole kitchen floor after wards.

  3. It probably depends on the amount of dishes. If there are just a few dishes like a daily load with four members in a family, then handwashing, otherwise if you have had a party and have a lot to clean, then the dishwasher will use less water.

I have taken into account that while handwashing the dishes one needs to be frugal with using water.

  4. When I had to carry water from a spring and heat it on a wood stove it took me around 1 gallon of water to wash the days dishes for a family.   Probably less than a dishwasher would use.

  5. depends on how you do it, if you let the water run the whole time then the dish washer, but hand wasing uses less water and energy if you are conservative with your water and do not let it run

  6. hand washing youses more than a dishwasher

  7. Dishwasher, due to the fact that you have to rinse off the dishes before you put them in the dishwasher, so there's no point in using the dish washer at all.

  8. i say hand washing but a dishwashee uses more energy.
