  1. The A/C would use more, you have to run a compresser with the A/C.


  2. I was told that heat comes off the warm engine and a fan to direct the heat is being used, where in air conditioning, the hot air is treated to a coolant to help lower the outside air, so I would say they use the same amount of energy from your engine.
