  1. One of my contacts is in Washington or Oregon and in a mail I read earlier today, the weather is great, not too hot, and I am sure you could find a small town near a river and do all the fishing you wished.

I don't know if the Salmon are running over there but that would be my recommendation.

  2. Any place high altitude.  Personally, I would spend a week camped by Guitar Lake (12,500 feet), on the western slopes of Mt. Whitney, CA (highest peak in the lower 48), amongst alpine greenery and rocks and marmots and pikas.  At night the stars are so bright you want to hang onto the ground with your hands, you can feel the planet turning under you.  But you're more of the mints-on-the-pillow-hotel-towel-klepto type, I imagine.  So the Mariott in Kuwaii (no crowds) is totally awesome and luxurious and the seabreeze into your open veranda, accompanied by the sounds of the waves breaking a hundred yards away from your bedroom, nullifies the heat.  And the evenings are sublime, skinny dipping in warm waters.

  3. myrtle beach Its not crowded at all this summer I just came back from it  and the waves are so totally awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Down here never gets very warm, even in summer and there are plenty of nice quite places.
