Question:

What vacation spot is the best and one I shouldn't miss out on.?

I am planning for a vacation in about 3 years when i get out of school. I plan to tour most if not all of europe. But besides europe, where could i go that would be more tropical. I'm sure I'll go to hawaii one day but I wanna go somewhere out side the U.S. thats not filled with tourist but has lots to offer.

Also what places..... in the U.S......would you suggest for

sight seeing and just an awing nature experience that I could enjoy. I was thinking like colorado, but i don't know much about where the beauty of our country is..

Any ideas for either kind of place???

Well if you have unlimited funds, consult a travel bureau. They can put you on to all the awe-inspiring places for tourists in the USA. If you want an out-of-the-way place that is still beautiful, consider southern West Virginia. It has: mountains, streams and rivers for fishing, camping-hotels-or resorts, golf, tubing, etc. That's where I'm going for about 8 days this year.

Go hiking up in the northeast during the fall months. The foilage in the north is GORGEOUS; it's one thing seeing it in pictures, but to see a sea of reds, yellow, golds.... breathtaking. When I was going to school in Boston, I took some hiking trips to Vermont and New Hampshire and the scenery is just amazing. I've been to Hawaii and all the usual tourist places, but I will never forget the experience on those mountains. I've never really been a nature freak, but I know that I DEFINITELY want to go back.

Places to visit outside the US?

BORACAY (Philippines). Loaded with European tourists but it's gorgeous and secluded. If all you want to do is relax, this is the place to go. Beautiful beaches, quiet (not a lot of people bring little kids from my experiences there), great tanning, cheap beachside massages, etc. Pure paradise.

omg! we went on a cruise and it was the best !.. it was the carnival cruise!!! omg!! it was the best thing yu could ever do!! we went to the bahamas!!!and some other islands around that area!! it was great!! yu should definately go there!!!

if you want tropical, Clearwater Beach FL. it's BEAUTIFUL. otherwise, there's North Conway NH, especially in like,early or mid October.

Out of the places I have been, I will say that Hawaii is one of my favorites, however you want something outside of the US. So out of the places I have visited I would have to say Grand Caymon. It's not too far away, has beautiful clear water (great for snorkeling/ suba diving), and it just a cool place to visit. Oh yes and don't forget to visit h**l while you're there. haha There's a little town called h**l, Grand Caymon. All that's there is a post office and you can send "mail from h**l." I thought it was cute.

however I've never been too much farther than that, but i'm sure places like Australia or New Zealand would be amazing, but I'll let someone who has visited those places answer that question.

for tropical, Costa Rica. Go to Manuel Antonio Beach, it's the best place here, I live in Costa Rica and have traveled alot. White sand, palm trees, wild monkeys on the beach, just spectacular!

Punta Cana or somewhere in the Dominican Republic. Its cheap and you get treated like a star. Plus the beaches are empty, so that means more space for u and ur friends.

The most amazing tropical place to visit is Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. I've gone there twice and every time it takes my breath away. Best of all, the island is surrounded by a high coral reef, which means that sharks are rarely seen inside the reef! You can go out a long ways and don't have to worry about sharks. Plus, coral reefs are extremely close to shore and snorkel shacks are everywhere. The people there are extremely nice and the resorts are amazing. We've gone to Celuisma Hoteles (formerly called Playa Naco) in Puerto Plata. There's so much to do there!! And for the best place to vacation in the US is Glacier National Park in Montana. The sights there are breathtaking!

We went to Kauai last May and it was lovely. If you want to go where there isn't alot of commercialism and people are really nice this is the spot. My daughter and her husband did the Napali Coast hike and said they were in awe. It is really scary at certain points so you should have lots of stamina. Jamie had just completed the L.A. marathon a few months before and was wiped. But it is beautiful!!!!

this isnt in the US, and its pricey, and more of a couple/family place ( no reason 2 go alone!!!!!) there is this awesome resort in JAMAICA...its beaches Negril, or sandals Negril ( beaches is family, sandals is 4 couples)..so so so so nice!!..look it up!!!
