What vaccines do I need to have before traveling to the south of Vietnam?

We keep up on all our vaccinations including Typhoid.  Before we leave for Vietnam we fill a script for Malaria, it is a pill not a shot, and take one once a week.  Check on your government health page and see what they recommend for traveling to each country.  Cheers

Dont need any, but would take plenty of mosquito repellent as there have been cases of Dengue fever recently in Vietnam and Thailand...

You do not need any vaccines when traveling to Vietnam..

Just bring Tylonol for headace and Pest repellent spray for mosquitos..And maybe antibiotic ..just incase of an emergency.

I 'd get repellent instead of malaria shots.  Side effects are horrible.
