  1. Green beans are excellent for beginners! They are quick and easy to grow, and really tasty when picked fresh from the garden! The only thing you might have to do is put a long thin stick in the soil by where your bean plant would be growing, and then tie some string around the stem and then the stick. This is because beans get very tall, very fast, and this will help your beans. I planted some beans about a week ago, and they are already about 5 inches tall! Green beans can be bought cheaply at a garden store. Radishes are ultra quick and there are so many different varieties to chose from! Cherry Belle is the quickest of all the varieties. They only take about 4 days to pop up, and can actually be planted all year round. If it ever gets too cold to plant them outdoors, indoors, with some sun, is also an ideal place for them. Tomatoes are my absolute favorite to grow! They are also very easy. They take a little longer than radishes and beans, but when they pop up, you really do feel happy! Like radishes, there are many different varieties. There are Roma tomatoes, Cherry tomatoes (my favorite!), big slicing tomatoes etc. To save money, buy some tomatoes, and when you eat them, take out the seeds. Put them on some napkin paper, leave them over night to dry, and then plant them!

Some other quick and easy veg:

    Spinach

    Cucumber

    Carrots

    Lettuce

    Onions

    Peas

Other kinds of beans like butter beans, black eyed beans

Once you have grown some of the above, try growing things like potatoes, watermelons, pumkins, corn etc.

Well, I hope I kind of gave you an idea of the kinds of veg that are easy to grow...

    Good luck!
