I'm trying to lose wieght and I want to know which foods are the best for you?

  1. every veg is good for you except avocados. if you want to lose weight, walk 20mins every other day.

Green veggies are REALLY good for you as far as promoting overall good health and weight lose but every vegetable is good for as long as you cook them in a healthy way.  Don't fry or boil vegetables, steaming, stir frying, grilling and raw is the best as far as getting overall nutrients.  Many people think that avocados should be something to stay away from but as long as you eat just two slices a day, it will help you with your health and lose weight.  It has worked for me.  You have to store the unused avocado in the fridge  in a ziploc in its pit and with squeezed lime or lemon juice on exposed parts. It will last for a couple of days and is a great source of nutrients.  I have found that if I balance my diet with all veggies that I feel better and tend to keep the weight off even if I use some olive oil which btw also has great health benefits.I've been grilling my vegetables all summer with lots and lots of garlic, olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper and even my husband that hates vegetables has been eating them all the time.
