What vegetables do they get oil from?

I have seen corn oil, and soy bean and who knows what a canola is?

I have grown a lot of vegetables but where do you get any oil?

  1. To get oil from plants they squeeze and heat the the seeds.

  2. olives and coconut oil. Canola oil is made from canola seed. Canola oil is pressed from tiny canola seeds produced by beautiful yellow flowering plants of the Brassica family. Cabbages and cauliflower are also part of the same botanical family! Canola was bred naturally from its parent rapeseed in the early 1970s. Canola, however, is NOT rapeseed - their nutritional profiles are very different.

  3. oil is made from olives when they squeeze the juice out of it. a tip for you is if you see whats called a pomice olive oil it is made from squeezing the pits it is cheaper and it is fine but not as good as extra virgin olive oil
