What verizon features are included with the plan and which do you have to pay for?

I am looking to buy either the LG voyager or the Samsung Glyde soon and I am unsure of what features are included with the plan and which are available for an additional charge.

Things like internet and text or picture messaging are additional.  Voicemail, caller ID, 3way calling, call forwarding are standard.  Verizon does have plans that include unlimited text and pic messaging for additioinal 20.00.

First of all, I would recommend to NOT get the Glyde. It has low ratings, as the touch screen breaks very easily and is none responsive a lot of the time. I would say get the Dare, but if you like the Voyager, that's a great phone too.

As for plans, if you get Basic, it doesn't include texting or anything, just basic things such as minutes. You have to pay like $5 for I tihnk 250 texts and so on. Then the next level up is Select. It includes unlimited texts, (sorry, when I was getting a phone, I was just looking for texting type features, so I'm not sure of any other features) but you can't go on the internet yet. Then the NEXT level up is Premium, the best. You can get unlimited web use, unlimited texting, and just about everything except unlimited minutes unless you choose that plan.

Sooo, for a person who is a pretty avid (think that's the right word) texter, and doesn't use the internet, but likes texting type things, I would suggest getting Select plan with either the Voyager (for a major texter) or the Dare (for a person who likes a sleeker, less bulky design and more features. The touch screen takes about a week or two to get used to for texting though).
