I have Java 1.4.1

I wish to upgrade to 1.6.0 (the lastest version)

I am on Sun's donwload page:

http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/ea.jsp

It is full of Java SE 6 updates. What should I choose?

Java SE 6 Update 10 RC [what the heck is RC?]

It's driving me insane. Please help.

  1. If you want an IDE then Java 7 with netbeans otherwise JDK update 7
