I have build a new PC but when I turn it on I can see anything on the monitor. The monitor stays black. What could be the problem?

The PC has integrated video card and I was thinking maybe that's the problem. I might buy a new video card for that PC but I'm not sure what kind of card would fit it because I'm not sure what kind of motherboard the PC has.

I have included some screens of the PC so maybe you can tell me what video cards would fit. Thank you!

My PC is:

  1. I looked up your PC, you need a PCI X16 video card, there is also a chance your monitor could be bad.

  2. I doubt the onboard video is bad. First of all the wiring is a mess and is hard to make out but it doesn't look like you have any memory installed. I see the slots in the lower part of the picture just above the power supply. If there is one stick of ram in there it's in the wrong slot, Move it to the slot closer to the next slot up. Make sure your pc is OFF and unplugged when you do this. Also is the fan from the processor heat sink plugged in..kind of looks like it but it's hard to see.

Nore more thing it looks like the 4 pin connector the is two black and two yellow wires is not connected...there should be s amll plug on the motherboard where this plugs into. with all the wires all over the place it's hard to see.

Judging by picture the first picture, the close up of the black fan...I'd say you have the wrong power supply. You can see 4 empty plugs that are right next to the fan..and below the red and yellow wires on the cable from the power supply.
