What vine can I get?

I live in East Texas and want to get a vine to put in my front yard. I want one that stays green all year, that grows quickly, and can be in shade and in sun. Is there such a thing? Would English Ivy work?

How about a bougainvillia or a cross vine?  they flower.  Ivy would also work well.  be careful of the sun requirements.  the vines that flower need sun...more sun, the more flowers

two of the best one's to me are confederate and carolina jasmine.  they flower smell good stay green all year and grow fast.
