  1. For calcium, I would suggest yogurt.  My daughter likes the Flintstones vitamins.  Just cut them in 1/2.  Many are too strong for really young children, so read the labels carefully.

  2. I didn't start giving my kids vitamins until they were two.  I would ask your child's doctor.  He will be able to tell you the best ones to chose from, because if you give her the wrong vitamin it could do more damage then good.

  3. As long as your child is eating enough fruits and veggies they should be fine. Also some cities have fluoride in their water so check with them to see if they offer that.

  4. You should give you child ALL vitamins in the recommneded dosage.

  5. I started Flintstones for kids per his Dr's direction.

  6. is there a medical reason why she's not having milk? just curious. I would talk to her doctor first before giving her vitamins. yogurt is a good source of calcium and cheese. if you are worried about the hormones give her soy milk

  7. Calcium can be found in many foods and the best source of vitamin D comes from exposure to the sun for a few minutes a day.  There are also juices that have added calcium now as well.

  8. Go to a health food store and ask them what they recommend.  Then before giving it to your daughter, check with your doctor.
