What vitamins am i missing out on by being vegan?

how should i get those vitamins? because i know vitamin deficiencies are a huge deal and i don't want to hurt my body. i each a lot of fruit and a pretty good amount of veggies, oatmeal and pizza bread (basically flour, water, yeast, olive oil), potatoes, i use olive oil to cook my food with. i take vitamin D and iron every day but i'd like to know if there are other vitamin supplements i should take, or other foods i should include in my diet. thanks so much :)

  1. I agree. B12 is pretty much the only one. Although only needed in very small doses it is extremely important and extremely difficult to obtain in a modern diet.

    You can get B12 naturally if you grow your own veggies in a garden with rich, healthy soil. Just don't wash the vegetables too thoroughly.

    Otherwise just take a B12 supplement.

    Make sure you get a gelatin free vitamin though.
