What vitamins do I need to take to help my hair grow?

I have a thyroid condition which makes my hair grow at an incredibly slow rate and it's driving me mad! I'd like to start taking vitamin supplements to aid hair growth. Which ones should I take?

  4. Instead of vitamin supplements that isolate particular chemicals try eating a variety of fruits/vegetables. You are probably upset that I didn't suggest some pills to pop but think of it this way: those fruits and vegetables not only have an abundance of vitamins that do the same job as any bottle of vitamin supplements, but they have other chemicals in them that react with those vitamins that the bottled variety simply cannot achieve. Scientists have isolated these vitamins into bottles assuming that one particular compound holds the key to nutriential value/cures/etc but there is research that suggest these vitamins are most effective when they interact with other natural nutrients in real fruits and vegetables.

    To sum it up, if you opt for a supplement, try Vitamin Cs, A, E. But it you really want to see results, pick up some vegetables and fruits like broccoli, strawberries, blueberries, spinach, etc and start munching them down! It will help your thyroid fight radicals AND grow your hair back.
