  1. You can try visiting local law offices or government places and inquire about volunteer opportunities that they have available in the field in which you plan to make your career.

  2. Any nonprofit that provides legal assistance to others would be good. See if there is a legal aid in your area. Also call your local United Way and ask if there are any organizations that provide such assistance in your area.

Also see if there is a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) organization in your area, and how you could volunteer for such in any capacity.

  3. volunteer at your local PD, call law offices and ask if there are tasks or research you can do for them...

  4. During the summer, intern (whether paid or unpaid) at a law office in private practice, public defenders office, a non profit law office, business law office, and tax law office.

With the degree and career you've chosen, you will have a plethora of things to keep you enlightened. It will also give you a chance to see what area of business/law you would like to be a part of.

  5. thats what i want to do for my future career too, i heard you can volunteer at law firms. Maybe you should try that

    good luck

  6. Typically, law firms will give all their internships to seniors in college, or law students. If you are in high school, many will cities will have a teen court. Where you can possibly, upon acceptance into the program, be an attorney, juror, or judge for a teen in jurisdiction system. These cases are not life or death cases and are used in the deciding of how many hours of community service to give the defendent (whom has already pleaded guilty).

If you would like to look at jobs in the business field, ask your local business owners, or a person in your community who has a job that intrigues you, if you can shadow them. People are often generous in their time to give to young people.

Another helpful database I have found is on Princetonreview.com, there they have a internship finder. Hope this helps and good luck!!
