Hogan came in 13 over par in 1938, finishing tied for 25th place, with Henry Picard winning. Hogan had not yet become the mighty force in golf that he would eventually go on to be; in 1951 and '53, Hogan would win the Masters, and by the time his career was over he'd won nine majors.
