Could he have picked a more lame running mate? His kids are in legal trouble. He looks like a used car salesman. He gets angry easily and you can read it on his face. Strange pick!

  3. It could be to offset claims that he didn't have enough experience, so he picked someone with even more experience than McCain.  Who knows what elitists like him really think, though?

My opinion is that he played it safe.  If they won, Hillary and Bill would have been a challenge to his presidency.  Obama needs someone to guide him in the event he wins the election, because in spite of what folks think and have written here, Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Obama, Biden and even John McCain.  None of them have run a government office.  So no matter how small Wasilla is, no matter that she's only been Governor for 18 months, she has experience under her belt that not one of the others can claim.

    He was a great pick. The decision was aken after a lot of thought about how the Presidency might go. Not after a lot of thought about what a saleable commodity he was during the election campaign

    Unlike the thought that went into McCain's choice which was all about saleability and polls.

  17. Yeah, he's not going to get a lot of help from Biden but he needed someone "experienced" since he has so little on his own resume.

You think his pick was bad?  McCain who has criticized Obama for being to inexperienced has picked someone with even less experience, how hypocritical is that?  If you think that Biden has a short temper you obviously haven't studied your candidate well, McCain has one of the worst tempers in all of Congress, and lets not forget that McCain has been in legal troubles to not to long ago.

    Could he have picked a more lame running mate?  She is already under investigation for firing someone because they wouldnt fire her sisters ex-husband.  She looks like a bikini model.  Her only experience is the mayor of a town of 7000 and the governor of the most corrupt state in the USA.  Strange pick!
