What was George Washington smoking out of that pipe?

They found thousands of artifacts and one thing was a pipe - it sure didnt look like a tabacco pipe to me - looked just like a crack pipe. So what do you think he smoked in it? We know he grew Hemp did he grow some of the better stuff too?
