What was Hitler's religion?

Please, could anyone tell me what was Adolf Hitler's religion. Was he a Catholic or Protestant or an athiest?

im not sure but i think i saw somewhere that there was some buddhism sign or something and thats where he got the n**i sign from.but i know he wasnt a buddhist.

i think his mother was actually a jew, but i wouldn't make sense seeing as hitler kills jews, but then again he was crazy!

adolf was raised jewish, but i believe he converted either to christianinty or something like that before he began systematically annihalating the members of his past religion.
