Supposedly he had news about a high profile player sacking but I missed his segment.

  1. Its a technique they use so many times that works so well - to get people to continue watching the show and we all know that no matter how many times they do it we will fall into their trap - coz the world of AFL envolves so many exciting and saddenening things we all are desperate to know about

  2. it was just peverill

  3. **I agree with the others before me who have answered.

Most of the time they try to build up Hutchy's 'breaking news' just so that people will continue watching and don't change channels.

Pevrill is hardly what I'd call a 'high profile' player and it's not surprising that he won't be playing next year.**

  4. Nothing - as usual.

Has he ever revealed anything interesting?

Maybe he is going to reveal a new hair growth tonic before the season is out.

  5. I wouldn't say that it was a "revelation"!

By high profile player they meant Damien Pevrill, and by sacking, they mean that he has been told to retire. As someone else above me said, every time JB and Lyon introduce him, they blow thing out of proportion!

  6. it was only damien pevrell. who isn't a high profile player and it has been said he was gonna get dislisted all year

  7. Don't worry mate. Every time the two jokers Gary and JB announce Hutchy with some BIG news, 90% of the time it is irrelevant or madeup. He is the No.1 news breaker when it comes to stupid issues in footy. He is the most overhyped news person in media especially by the two jokers. I don't believe they actually give him more importance than Sam Newman who I think is very witty and certainly intelligent than most in footy world.

Anycase don't worry about hutchy..there was no such news.
