    Talking to the Sun newspaper in 2008, Poulter said: "If you don't think you can be the best - or at least second best to the finest golfer who has ever lived - you're wasting your time. And no one has ever accused me of being short of ambition or self-belief." It was more the fact that Poulter hadn't won on the PGA Tour when he made his comments. Now that he's up to No. 5 in the world, people might start to take Poults more seriously. As long as he doesn't deck himself out in pink again.
