What was Palin mesage?

Palin only talk down to real Americans and then talk only about energy and Iraq. What does this have to do with real American problems? We know Palin is in bed with oil companies so we know that McCain/Palin will not get anything passed cause they don't believe in Global warming. So what was the point to her speech.

Iraq is a dead issue cause the troops are coming home on a time line and has nothing to do with McCain nor Palin.

Palin's message was to appeal to the Republican base that McCain's views on abortion alienated. This is why she talked about being an everyday hockey mom, not raising taxes, drilling for oil etc.

I agree she mainly bashed Obama and Biden the entire time.  If McCain comes into office I dont think that time line for the troops coming home will exist anymore.
