  1. Reg Regan brought back the biff.

  2. hahahahaha

  3. If you mean Russia I think Regan who was very old was still living in the glory days of his youth 60 years earlier when he was a tool of Joe McCarthy. Regan was not an intellectual

and had no grasp of history. To him everything was black or

white. Or in this case red. Russians were communist therefore they were the bad guys. The fact that the U.S.

really had no grasp on what was actually happening in the

USSR at the time added to the fact that he considered them

to be the "Evil Empire" at a time when they could hardly

get their president sobered up long enough to get off planes.

Of course given the fact that the U.S. had a president who fell asleep during high level meetings and his wife actually was running the country with the help of an astrologer doesn't say much about that country either.

  4. Um, well, since Prussia no longer existed when RONALD Reagan was president, I doubt he had a policy regarding them. Are you referring to Russia? Or perhaps Germany?

  5. It was a modified version of Truman Capote's constrainment policy.

  6. USSR, right?

"Ronny Raygun" was a real black and white type guy-the USA is perfect, the USSR is evil and must be crushed. He cranked up the rhetoric against the Evil Empire and upped the ante with "Star Wars" a protection system of lasers to shoot down ICBMS in space. He also upgraded the US millitary spending, deployed the MX missiles and basically swaggered around the world talking about how he was happy to have a real nuke fight with the Russians because he believed in Armageddon and the End of Days-a nuke war would bring on the return of Christ! I guess thats why he ran up the US deficit by hundreds of billions of dollars EACH YEAR. Gotta pay for all those bombs and planes somehow!

In Australia most people who didn't like him called him "Raygun" because of the "star wars" policy.

Now, it might have all been a bluff, but it was a REAL SCARY time to be a teenager!
