In the book Tears of a Tiger by Sharon Draper, there is a poem that comes from the play Macbeth by William Shakespeare. The teacher in this book uses this passage during class and it upsets Andy ( a character in the novel) so much that he runs out of the classroom. For my English assignment, I to have write what Shakespeare was saying about life and death and how the lines in the poem apply to Andy's life and the themes of the novel. Can someone please help me out with the answer please?

  1. I absolutely LOOVE that book, but I'm not sure what the poem was. If you can, can you try to put the poem in?  I'm pretty sure that he got upset because he blames himself for his friend's death and Macbeth is all about the characters' guilt for Murder.
