Has anybody heard anything relating to this article and is this a threat to NASCAR?

  1. it sounds like he is saying the new rule will cost toyota horsepower and possible sponsors because there not as fast as they were

  2. How about that? The France family and NASCAR have never had to answer to anyone. If Toyota announces it is pulling out of NASCAR after 2008, that will be interesting to say the least.

  3. As long as the # of xenophobes outweigh the number of open minded NASCAR fans I am afraid Toyota will continue to be at a disadvantage because of the incessant whining of many NASCAR fans.

  4. it sounds like he might be a little upset

  5. well if the Toyota are as good as everyone says they are. then it should not hurt them much. if they keep winning,  it is the driver and not the horsepower.  and they are only loosing about 15hp. but they should of did it to the dodges too. sence they was not far behind Toyota in the hp.  i don't think they will make any changes to the cup and the truck.
