Does anybody know what the TV show "Twin Peaks" was called originally? Apparently it had a different name....

  2. The Twin Peaks (original name) pilot episode was first broadcast on April 8, 1990

    The movie, also known as the "European Pilot," was commissioned as a "one off" project to be shown in European cinemas in the event that the series wasn't picked up. This way, the production wouldn't be a loss.

    In 1992, the series spawned a prequel to the series, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992), which attempted to connect the events leading up to Laura Palmer's death.

    (Great series, loved all the twists and turns).
