Worf's pet was a targ. According to http://captainmike.org/Galactopedia/w2.h... the targ's name was lengwI' (which according to http://www.babylon.com/definition/lengwI... is Klingon for rover! Elsewhere it is rendered "traveler" or "wanderer") However, on this page:http://www.klingon.org/smboard/index.php... it is said that this name was not in the TV series.

The only time this targ was mentioned (that I can recall) is in the TNG episode "Where No One Has Gone Before" (the first appearance of the alien "Traveler"). I can't recall whether Worf refers to it by name when he sees it.
