1952-I was 20 when I saw Secretariat and Sham in the 1973 derby.Also for flexible,there was another great horse that finished 4th in that race.His name was Forego who became one of the great handicap horses of all time.

In year 1993.

1970.  Because this is the HORSE RACING section.  Secretariat and Sham were both born that year, and both horses still hold the two fastest times for the Kentucky Derby.  So that's a pretty good year.

I was born in '85.  It was a good time to be born because I basically missed the 80's, which were pretty much useless except for the awesome mobster movies they put out.  I would've liked to have avoided being of voting age while George Bush Jr. was in office though.  I didn't vote for him, but I still feel somewhat responsible for his being a dumba$$.
