  1. He should have an even 3.0 according to my calculations.

Oh, he had a 2 hour art class and he got a B which is 3 points.  You take the credits and multiply by the points.

    2 cred art B=3

    2(3) = 6

    3 cred math B=3

    3(3) = 9

    1 cred sci lab A=4

    4(1) = 4

    3 cred. history A = 4

    4(3) = 12

    4 cred. sci C = 2

    4(2) = 8

You add up all the numbers and divide by the total credits.

    6 + 9 + 4 + 12 + 8 = 39

Divide by the number of credits.

    2 + 3 + 1 + 3 + 4 = 13

    39/13 = 3.0

  2. about a 3.5

  3. You take the credit hours times the points per grade for each class, add them up, and then divide by the total credit hours

    (2*3) + (3*4) + (4*2) + (3*3) + (1*4) divided by (2+3+4+3+1)

    =6+12+8+9+4 divided by 13

    =39/3

    =3.0

    _/

  4. 3+4+2+3+4= 16/5 = 3.2
