  1. I think it's Peter Hewat. He left because he said there was no point in trying if he wasn't in the top 60 players in oz (15 starters for the 4 australian super 14 franchises).

    and then i think lote tuquiri was talking to a selector on loudspeaker at a bar and hewat overheard them and left the waratahs to go to europe
