  1. We didn't have ours for a month after the wedding but it was romantic. We sat on the balcony and drank champagne and watched the sun set over the ocean.

  2. More the likely question to ask is "did you consummate your marriage the night of your wedding"?  The likely answer will be about 60% DID NOT!  Almost everyone I know as well as myself are in the 60% mark.  It all depends on the time of day for the wedding; morning and early afternoons you might find a better percentile, but evening weddings followed by early brunches and flights tend to lend themselves to the "not" department.  We had such a great reception that it carried over to another location and another after that, it was 3:30 by the time we got home.

No matter what, if it is your first time, or just first time as man and wife...relax.  It will feel special and a little different in a much better way, (no matter when it happens)!  Enjoy!

  3. I was so nervous, I don't even know why. Just being married made it different..no worries it turned out perfect. It was weired though...we had been together for 2 years, but for reason I was nervous.

  4. Got drunk, started fighting-got beat up, puked and then went to jail! The best fun I ever had.

  5. It was absolutely exhausting.  And I bet this is more the norm than people think.

I had a huge wedding and it lasted til late into the night.  I finally was able to leave about 1230-1am.  My husband and I got to the hotel and checked in.  I went up to the room while he brought in our luggage.

Then we began the undressing procedure.  For him, easy.  For me, very difficult.  I couldn't get out of the dress on my own.  Then the hoop and corset.  Then all the millions of pins holding my hair up.  By this time it is close to 230 in the morning and we had to be up to get ready for our flight around 6am.

So we crash, wake up the next morning, get dressed and head to the airport.  We took a cruise out of Puerto Rico for our honeymoon so we spent most of the day in airports or flying.  Got to Puero Rico, grabbed a cab and went straight to the port.  Got on the ship at about 4pm.  Then of course you are walking around the ship trying to figure that stuff out and hope your luggage makes it.  They won't let you into your room for a while.  So we ate dinner around 6-7.  And within an hour or so I went to bed.  I was sooo exhausted!!  Of course we planned things for our honeymoon too (bad idea) so that we were suppose to be up every morning by 8.  Well the first 3 or 4 days anyway.

It was at least day 3 of my honeymoon before I even remotely felt relaxed.

  6. I don't know yet. My wedding isn't until October 2009. I'll let you know though when it arrives. :))
