  1. He was feeling like he needed someone during a very difficult time.

I'm assuming between work and supporting his wife during her cancer recovery he felt overwhelmed. Men often don't recognize the need to ASK for help emotionally ( ie counseling) and for alot of men emotional "comforting" includes s*x.

Yes he was disloyal to his wife during her cancer recovery...he's a man not a robot.

My question is what was Rielle Hunter, thinking?

She wasn't suffering with the pain of a loved on having cancer...she was in many ways taking advantage of the situation.

Cut the guy some slack, he did it , he admitted it ( to his wife) and they dealt with it Privately.

    End of the issue.

At least he had the Balls to admit he did

    do it,

unlike the wimpy current administration that can't cop to all of the activity's they are guilty of.

    Peace

This is a private matter between him and his wife and has no bearing on national security or policy.

  2. of course he cared don't democrats care about everyone??  lol

  3. He was thinking,"now everybody won't think I'm g*y"

  4. obviously his "little" head was doing the "thinking"

  5. He probably was looking for some comfort. No doubt afraid for his wife and the thought of losing her.Maybe he just needed to be cradled and thats how it started.who knows. It is between he and his wife.

  6. He was thinking the same thing that any person who cheats is thinking:

"I can get away with this."

Now, I'm a registered Republican and conservative, and I loathe the Democrats as much as any flag-waving American. But all this bashing of Edwards over this stupid affair has got to stop. It doesn't matter because cheating is not an indication of one's political leanings, social status, financial worth, or ability to do their job. People of every walk of life cheat, it's a proven fact.

Bringing it up over & over again doesn't make the Democrats look any worse than they already are, nor does it make the Republicans look any better. It just indicates a morbid curiosity over someone's private life, about something that doesn't concern anyone but Edwards, his wife, and that hussy who couldn't keep her legs closed.

Let's get past this as soon as humanly possible, and get back to the important issues such as who is most qualified to lead this country as president for the next four to eight years.

That would be John McCain, of course. Yes, he cheated on his wife, too. Big whoop. He's not running for Husband Of The Year, he's running for President. Focus, people, focus...

  7. You mean "What was he thinking WITH?"

  8. two americas's,liberals like silky pony, and real men!!!!

  9. Why do we even care?! I think people should spend a little less time worried about what everyone else is doing, and more time worried about themselves.

  10. I really do think that he loves his wife (his highschool sweetheart)...but who knows,he probable just got caught up in the moment. With all the stress people can react differently.

  11. Yes I'm sure he cared, but as with most politicians he bought into his own press.

  12. yea he's an idiot

i just feel bad for his wife =(

  13. he was thinking with his other head...the jerk..just another politician that cant keep his stiffy to himself

  14. I'm Republican and don't like Edwards, so I'm not defending him. BUT, different people handle stress different ways. When your life starts to collapse around you, like when you lose a major election and your wife is battling cancer, etc., both major catastrophes the likes of which hopefully you and I will never have to face, the easiest thing to do is to blame those people closest to you. It happens over and over again, especially with men. The loss of a job, (i.e.: election,) is so devastatingly emasculating that they need to assure themselves of their manhood. Of course, this solves nothing, and only hurts his wife more. Somehow, I don't think he actually thought, "I'm gonna go get me some...whatever..." Hopefully he gets a better shake than Newt Gingrich did in exactly the same situation.
