I'm in the process of writing a book and I'm trying to add a few more examples of what great presenters do to get their message to really stick with people. Thanks very much!

  1. I attended a presention some years ago that was truly inspiring.. and I have never forgotten it. They guy was just soooo natural. He didn't wear a suit, he didn't w*nk on with a whole heap of corporate speak, he didn't try to show he was better/smarter/above his audience. He simply wandered up and down the stage speaking of his experience from the heart. He included lots of interesting anecdotes and was honest about the blunders he had made on the way through. His prevailing message was no matter what happens in a business PEOPLE are the core (customers and staff)...

p.s. The speaker was an Aussie guy by the name of Tom O'Toole. His presentation was about how he bought a struggling country bakery - Beechworth Bakery Victoria - and built it into a to an empire (lots of shops, staff, multimillion dollar turnover etc).

I hope this info is in line with what you are looking for.. and wish you the best with your book!
