  1. Where have you been the last 40 years. They won't have any problems at all. And we all know they will vote on the black candidate, simply because he is black. SO NOT FAIR

  2. Your question is not clear on what you are asking. Are you talking about voter act.

  3. The only thing preventing anyone in America from voting is themselves...registration is required at least 30 days prior to the election and registration forms can be found at any county election office, public library, department of motor vehicles  or deputy registrar's office (where you renew your dirver's license and tags), high schools, state aid offices, and various voter registration drives throughout the commiunity. In Ohio, voting information is sent to your adress of record on your driver's license by the state to remind you of your polling place, they do more than their share to get people to vote.

Many fail to register and then complain about not not being allowed to vote or proclaim racism, that's bunk.

    EDIT:

The delay in 2004 Ohio voter registration was NOT caused by the Republicans but by an independent group that was attempting to fraudulently register ineligible voters. The Issue was investigated and a report given to Congress by Robert Ney http://www.nytimes.com/packages/pdf/nati...

The results of the election were contested by John Kerry and a recount showed no change in the state's election results.

The group Vote Now was totally responsible for the delay which did not hinder any eligible voter from casting their ballot. This is simply an invalid argument that "Bush stole the election."  and is a very weak one at that.

Further recommendations showed some election reform necessary but that the results were valid.

This year's primaries had a mandate that paper ballots be made available in Ohio's 88 counties. Less than 1/2% of these ballots were actually used at a cost of millions unnecessarily spent by the state, money that could have definitely been used more wisely.

I had a daughter vote the first time in 2004 in Ohio, she had no problem registering OR voting, perhaps because she didn't wait until it was less than 30 days before the election to register ....

  4. In Ohio, voter registrations were delayed so that they could not vote in the 2004 election. This happened to many blacks, many of whom traditionally vote Democrat. So yes, the GOP has tried to stop blacks from voting.

  5. The biggest problem would be apathy.

Its not like it is that hard to pick up a voter registration form at the local post office.
