  1. The last thing we say to each other every night is, "Dream about me." Our song has always been "Dream A Little Dream Of Me" by Louis Armstrong.

  2. 5 steps by dru hill because the song talks about the steps that you take toward a happy relationship

  3. One Love-Bob Marley

    It just suited us!

  4. Cheek To Cheek - Ella or Frank Sinatra

  5. I have always wanted to use "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder.

  6. The Story of Love. I'm not sure who the original artist is. We are getting the version in French. Why? He proposed in Paris.

We have both loved that song since we were children. He played it on the violin when he was young and I had a jewelry box that played it.

    Seemed like the perfect fit.

  7. "In This Life" by Bette Midler.  I first heard it when we started dating and thought it would be nice to dance to it at our wedding if we got married.  I had a couple of other songs that I always thought would make good dance songs as well.  By the time we got married a few years later, the words to this one just seemed even more applicable to the current situation so I went with it.

  8. Hehe.

Ours was "I'll Be Loving You Forever" by New Kids On The Block.

    Why you ask?

Because we wanted to get away from the "typical first dance" songs and have something different.

  9. I'm not married yet... but when the time comes my song will most likely be Micheal Buble- Everything. It's an amazing song and pretty much sums up the way I feel about my guy. If you haven't heard it you should definitely look into it, it's worth your time!

  10. hopefully will be:

    easier to be- lifehouse

great lyrics and nice calm beat

  11. Keeper of the Stars

"It was no accident, me finding you. Someone had a hand in it long before we ever knew."

I thought it was a very pretty song. We also played "All I Ask of You" from the Phantom of the Opera.

  12. When I was about 14, my mom let me borrow a tape of The Carpenters, and I fell in love with "We've Only Just Begun."  The song is perfect for weddings, and a great song to slow dance to.  It also doesn't go on and on like some songs.  I chose my wedding song then, and I was lucky enough to find a guy who agreed with my choice.

  13. I'm Yours (2008)

    by Jason Mraz

album: We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things (2008)

Well, you done done me and you bet I felt it

I tried to be chill but your so hot that I melted

I fell right through the cracks, now I'm tryin to get back

before the cool done run out I'll be givin it my best test

and nothin's gonna stop me but divine intervention

I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

But I won't hesitate no more,

    no more, it cannot wait

    I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me

open up your plans and d**n you're free

look into your heart and you'll find love love love love

listen to the music of the moment people dance and sing

    We're just one big family

And it's our godforsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved

So, i won't hesitate no more,

no more, it cannot wait i'm sure

there's no need to complicate our time is short

    this is our fate

    I'm yours

    *scat*

I've been spendin' way too long checkin' my tongue in the mirror

and bendin' over backwards just to try to see it clearer

But my breath fogged up the glass

and so I drew a new face and I laughed

I guess what I'd be sayin' is there ain't no better reason

to rid yourself of vanities and just go with the seasons

it's what we aim to do

    our name is our virtue

But I won't hesitate no more,

    no more it cannot wait

    I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me

open up your plans and d**n you're free

look into your heart and you will find that the sky is yours

    so please don't, please don't, please don't,

    there's no need to complicate,

    Cause our time is short

This, this, this is our fate,

    I'm yours

    *scat*

  14. You and Me by Lifehouse. We both thought at the same time that we should make it our wedding song.

  15. in my life by the beatles... but the johnny cash version

it's really nice and goes on about having other friends and lovers and a life  but loving your partner more. you'll always have your memories and nothing will take away your past but now everything is perfect!!!

  16. at last by  ella fitzgerald

  17. true companion

  18. Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban.

We went through song, after song with no agreement.  We both listen to rock and couldn't find the "perfect" song for us.  We just happened to be scanning through the radio stations and it stopped on this country station.  When we heard we both knew it was perfect for us.

  19. "Fallen" by Ron Sexsmith.

I LOVE Ron Sexsmith.  My fiance and I have been to see him live 3 times.  He writes the most beautiful songs.  What we like about the song "Fallen" (and most RS songs) is they are beautiful and expressive, but not cheesy.  The word "love" is only said like 2 times in the whole song, at the end.  I love that it isn't cheesy, just beautiful.

The runner up song was "Best Friends" by Ron Sexsmith.
