I was at a resteraunt with my titi(aunt) and i said can you cut the cheese and everyone started to laff at me im like what the heck is going on and no one told me what i said wrong???????????

I noticed that you referred to your aunt as titi.  Perhaps you did what I have done several times without even thinking.  I have inserted a Spanish word into an English sentence and sometimes have done the opposite.

Example:  No puedo darte una copia, el printer no trabaja.
