I would say the atrocities committed by both sides in the war.

I am attaching a link to an article in the Columbus (Ohio) dispatch about the recent revelation that the South Koreans were slaughtering North Koreans. It has been widely publicized since the early days of the war that the North had been doing this.

In a documentary I saw called (I think) Korea: The forgotten war, there was a film of a group of UN soldiers tied up with communications wire and shot.

The greatest damage I suppose was that we have left the peninsula in a state of cease fire, but with no peace treaty since July 27, 1953.
