What was that question I was going to ask?

I think of great questions when I'm at work or driving or shopping, but when I sit down in front of the computer I go blank! Please help - what was that question I was going to ask? ( and what's the answer?)

The question:  How do I know that I exist?

The answer:  "I think.  Therefore, I am."

I do that same thing all the time.

I've learned to start writing them down on a piece of paper next to me, or anything next to me, and put it in my pocket.
