What was that yellow thing they put inside Juan Manuel Marquez's eyelid cut?

It looked like a yellow absorbent rubber band. Juan Manuel Marquez's corner man inserted it into the cut. I guess, to stop the bleeding. It sure looked painful, but Marquez did not flinch. What do you call that thing?

  1. im not sure what they call it, but from what i know and heard, its a string that has a type of medication that supposed to help stop the bleeding.

  2. ya its supposed to absorb the blood but chavez(paquios healer) did it illegaly did you notice that jauns cut opened back up way faster than paqiuos

  3. Nocho (JMM corner) did use adrenaline 1:1000 but he soaked it in kite string not floss, this is a normal thing but not to many people use it. He should have used a soaked q-tip because pressure is the key to stopping the bleeding, then he could have finished with leaving the kite string in.

Joe Chavez (MP corner) used Avetine which is a much better product but cost twice as much. Both are legal in Vegas.

He also  used something else when he was applying a q-tip but I am not sure what it was. Adrenaline when soaked on a q-tip is clear in color, Joe's q-tip was a dark color & could have been a old bottle of Adrenaline because it does change to a dark color when old.

  4. it was adrenaline 1:1000

    they put it on floss

I know beristain and thats how he handles those cuts

it is ilegal to do it with floss the inspector in Nevada is real stupid for allowing this
