1-minor surgery come back later in season

2- serious surgery comes back next year

3-plays through the pain & risks a career treating injury

there are only 3 options

He got four opinions by different doctors on his knee; not four options.

He could either play through the injury, or have season ending surgery.

Choosing to play puts his career in jeopardy if he further injures his knee. I still don't know why he is putting everything on the line for just one year.

He went to four different surgeons to get his options ... either go into surgery or play football.

Four different surgeons ALL said take the surgery option.  

He didn't.
