  2. Blame it on the Lieutenant. Not worth ruining a senior officer's military career over.

  3. As posted already, if we have to actually acknowledge that it "May --- or may not have happened, then blame it on the Lt.    Wash this thing under the rug and keep moving.  Bad things happen in war."
